Kerry Family Dental approached me to modernize their online presence and create a visual identity that reflected their values as a trusted, family-owned dental practice. Over the years, I have continued to evolve their website, marketing materials, and digital strategy which has helped increase new patient acquisition, strengthen community presence, and the practice has been able to maintain a clean, modern brand.

Process


1. Website Redesign & Brand Refresh

In 2013, I redesigned the practice’s website to create a clean, modern, and patient-friendly experience. Over the years, I continuously refined the layout, images, and messaging to keep the site current and aligned with evolving expectations of dental patients. A major focus was showcasing Kerry Family Dental as a long-standing, family-owned practice (a key differentiator from corporate dental chains).


2. SEO Strategy & Patient-Focused Content

I improved the site’s discoverability through targeted SEO practices, optimizing structure, keywords, and local-search relevance. Content was shaped around what patients value most when researching a dentist: trust, experience, and personal care. These updates helped increase visibility and build confidence for potential patients.


3. Photography, Iconography & Visual Assets

I directed and photographed staff portraits to strengthen the practice’s professional image. Additionally, I created custom icons and graphics to support site clarity and strengthen its brand identity across digital and print platforms.


4. Digital Marketing & Review Management

To increase patient engagement and online credibility, I managed the practice’s Google Business profile and implemented a review-request system using our dental software’s texting platform. By sending personalized follow-up messages, we encouraged satisfied patients to share their experiences, contributing to a significant rise in Google reviews.


5. Print Marketing & Community Outreach

I designed physical mailers and neighborhood postcards to expand community reach. These print campaigns helped attract new patients and complement the digital strategy, ensuring the practice remained visible both online and locally.

Outcome

The redesigned website and ongoing marketing efforts resulted in meaningful improvements to the practice’s visibility, patient experience, and growth. Monthly new patient numbers increased by 257%, rising from 7 to 25. Google reviews grew by over 135, strengthening online credibility. Updated brand visuals and consistent, patient-focused messaging supported a cohesive identity that continues to resonate with the community and set the practice apart from corporate dental groups.
